    I find it interesting that 5 sigma is where they draw the line for ‘proof’. Kind of reminds me of the story of the physics student who chose to represent himself in court after he had actually committed a crime and then smugly told the judge “You can’t prove I dit it” — but the standard of proof in law is quite different to that in science.
