    How does Google Autocomplete choose what shows? Because these aren’t what I get when I search for ‘Rick Perry’. Are these results more reflective of the region I’m in or my search history?

    I get:
    1) for president
    2) gay
    3) for president 2012
    4) grades
    5) issues
    6) secession
    7) evolution
    8) 2012
    9) quotes

      I try to collect the google auto-completes when I am logged out of my account, but I don’t know how thorough I have been with that.

      In the future, I’ll do all my searches for this with web history turned off.

      When the history is turned off for Rick Perry I get:
      gay
      wiki
      for president
      quotes
      evolution
      hunting lodge
      issues
      2012
      grades
      hunting camp
